A CD mat for a more natural sound

Resonance control for the CD too

Even though a CD only carries digital information, resonance control affects the finesse and naturalness of the music. That is why the Perfect Interface CD follows the same principles as the turntable mat. The idea is not damping, but an open, organic sound with precise timing and finesse.

The CD Carbon Signature

Carbon composite and E-Pads

A high-strength, resonance-optimised carbon composite gives even more accuracy and signal fidelity at the reading point. SteinMusic E-Pads complete it.

Made by hand in Japan and Mülheim

The base is paper from the paper mulberry tree, traditionally made by hand in Japan and dried on wood. In our manufactory in Mülheim an der Ruhr we cut it to shape and impregnate it with SteinMusic Maestro lacquer made from natural resins.

CD Signature or CD Carbon Signature

The Perfect Interface CD Signature is the base version. The CD Carbon Signature adds a high-strength, resonance-optimised carbon composite for even more accuracy.
