What does an audiophile power distributor do compared to a normal power strip?

A power distributor carries the current through solid, contact-stable sockets and a mechanically calmed construction. It reduces the way connected components interfere with one another and keeps high-frequency disturbances from the house wiring out of the chain. The result is usually a quieter background and clearer resolution, where an ordinary power strip simply passes the current along.

Do I need a power conditioner or a power distributor?

We deliberately build distributors, not conditioners. A carefully built distributor with solid contacts, low contact resistance and a calmed construction supplies every component with clean, unrestricted current. Classic conditioners and filters intervene more strongly in the supply and can limit current peaks, which takes energy and dynamics away from amplifiers in particular. Our way is not to filter away, but to distribute quietly and with full current.

Does a power distributor change the character of my system?

A well-built distributor should work neutrally. It does not change the character of the system, it removes disturbances that stand between the music and the listener. This is usually heard as more calm, a more stable soundstage and more natural timbres, rather than as an added flavour.

Is clean power worthwhile for a mid-level system too?
