More foundation, the same calm

The Bobby M sounds like a larger Bobby S. Voices stand freely between the loudspeakers, the treble stays soft and clear, and even small changes in level come through. What is new is the foundation: a double bass gains depth, an organ gains space.

The transition between the Bass Extension and the Bobby S is barely audible, because the same drivers work at the top and the bottom. The sound keeps the same character from the bass up to the treble.

With the two switches on the Bobby S and the supplied foam plugs for the bass reflex ports, you can adapt the sound to your room.

Two cabinets, one loudspeaker

The Bobby S sits on the Bass Extension, its feet resting in recesses lined with mahogany. The two cabinets stay separate and still work as one. The Bass Extension has exactly the height that brings the horn to ear level, so no stand is needed.

The same drivers from top to bottom

The Bass Extension uses the same 15 cm drivers as the Bobby S, with natural fibre cones and SteinMusic Maestro lacquer. That is why the loudspeaker sounds of a piece. The passive crossover in the Bass Extension is matched to the Bobby S.

Bass without damping material

Like the Bobby S, the Bass Extension is wider at the back than at the front, and its side walls are braced with an extra strut. The reflex port sits at the bottom of the front, its diameter widening slowly along its length. The bass stays well defined, without damping material that takes energy out of the music.

For your room

“Level” and “Slope” on the Bobby S adjust the treble, the supplied foam plugs in one or both reflex ports adjust the bass. The Bobby S and the Bass Extension each have their own terminals, for single, bi- or tri-wiring as well as bi-amping.

Was sie braucht

Aufstellung

The Bobby M stands directly on the floor. A good starting point is around 2.5 m between the loudspeakers and 3 m to the listening position. A little less toe-in often opens up the stage.

Verstärker

The Bobby M is a 4 Ω load and rewards an amplifier with some power. Valve or transistor is up to your taste.

Raum

For medium to larger rooms. The more space the bass has, the clearer its contour. For very large rooms we recommend the Bobby L with a second Bass Extension.

Wir fertigen Ihre Lautsprecher in Mülheim an der Ruhr und versenden sie sicher verpackt. In den Standardfarben sind sie in rund 10 Arbeitstagen bei Ihnen, in Ihrer Wunschfarbe in drei bis vier Wochen. Bei der Aufstellung und der Einstellung helfen wir Ihnen gern am Telefon.

Sie haben 30 Tage Zeit für die Rückgabe. Ausgenommen sind Sonderanfertigungen in Wunschfarbe.
